2. What Our App Does

Our messaging application provides the following core functionalities:

  • Collects and displays conversations from Facebook Messenger so our team can reply efficiently
  • Uses AI assistance (optional) to help us respond to inquiries more effectively
  • Provides tools for conversation history, profile management, and feedback tracking
  • Enables seamless communication between our charity and community members

3. Facebook Data We Access

When you connect your Facebook Page(s) to our app, we request only the minimum necessary Facebook permissions:

pages_messaging – To receive and respond to messages sent to your Page via Messenger
pages_manage_metadata – To access and manage Page settings and metadata, ensuring conversations are linked to the correct Page
leads_retrieval – To collect lead information from your Facebook ads so our admin team can manage inquiries faster, send timely messages, associate leads with appropriate programs, and track attendance based on lead profiles
Important: We do not access your personal login details or any data beyond what's necessary for messaging functionality.

4. Data Storage

Yes, we store some information in order to provide our services effectively:

  • Messages, conversation history, and profile data are stored securely in our database (Supabase)
  • All data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections
  • Data retention follows industry best practices
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell or rent user data

Limited data processing occurs only for service functionality:

  • AI Processing – Messages may be processed by our self-hosted Ollama LLaMA AI model running on a private VPS (Hostinger). Data does not leave our controlled servers.
  • Workflow Automations – We may use Make.com to help with backend automations (e.g., syncing data). These only process the minimum necessary data.
Privacy Guarantee: No Facebook data is shared with external AI providers or third parties.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Request access to your stored data
  • Request updates or corrections to your information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw permissions by disconnecting your Facebook account from our app
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
